Und einen Headhunter angefordert. Was auf den ersten Blick wie eine falsche Welt erscheint: Sind es nicht Headhunter, die auf potenzielle Kandidaten zugehen? – ist heute in der Branche ziemlich üblich, wo sich die Vertriebsmitarbeiter lieber als „Recruiting Consultants“ oder „Executive Search Consultants“ bezeichnen.

Hinter dem Begriff Großartig verbirgt sich, was viele Arbeitssuchende längst wissen: Personalberater suchen nicht nur Führungskräfte, also Top-Manager, auch wenn das zu erwartende Umsatzziel laut einer aktuellen Studie des Bundesverbandes durchschnittlich 150.000 Euro beträgt deutscher Unternehmen. Unternehmensberater (BDU). Auch Spezialisten ohne Führungsverantwortung stehen auf seiner Wunschliste.

Marco Keller beispielsweise verdiente als Telekommunikationsfachmann gerade mal 50.000 Euro im Jahr. Für den Headhunter Ihrer Wahl bietet die Management-ausgebildete Personalberatung Weiser, Kuck & Comp. Interessant war es trotzdem: „Zunächst wollten sie nur einen kurzen Lebenslauf von mir“, sagt Keller, „aber dann sollte ich alle vollständigen Unterlagen mit Zeugnissen schicken.“

Einige Tage später luden ihn die Berater zu einem Kennenlerngespräch ein; Kurz darauf wurde er von einer Telefongesellschaft zu einem Vorstellungsgespräch eingeladen.

Allerdings können nicht alle Headhunter mit frischgebackenen Hochschulabsolventen etwas anfangen. Wer als Absolvent sein Glück versuchen möchte, klopft am besten bei kleineren Headhuntern an, die sich auf bestimmte Branchen spezialisiert haben.

Wie viel Berufserfahrung ist wichtig?
